The 41-year-old Australian star, who took her daughter Rose Sunday in July, stated that she and six other women who nadaron in the waters of a small town in the plains during the production of the epic “Australia” became pregnant.
“I never thought I would be pregnant and giving birth to a daughter, but it happened in this movie,” said the actress winning an Oscar in an exclusive interview for the 75th anniversary edition of the magazine The Australian Women’s Weekly, broadcast on Wednesday.
“Seven babies were conceived during (production) and this film only one was male. There’s something up there in the water because all of Kununurra we went to swim in the falls, so now we can call them the waters of fertility.”
“Australia”, directed by Baz Luhrmann, was filmed in Kununurra, a small town in the northern state of Western Australia. The film, which follows the story of a woman in a noble meaning of cattle in Australia during World War II, comes to the big screen in November.
Kidman also commented on his relatively small pregnant belly.
“I am so lucky to be so high, so I had a little belly, and also, I must say, I had a delivery that was a blessing, a labor were very good and a baby who was very good to me in that sense,” said actress, married to country music singer Keith Urban and mother of two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
“Receiving this again is beautiful. Having grown up with Bella and Connor since I was 25 years and now able to do it again to 41 … boy!”

Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins – a boy named Knox Leon and a girl named Vivienne Marcheline, her doctor has confirmed to Us.
“Saturday was a great day for all,” Dr. Michael Sussman tells Usmagazine.com. “The babies are good, as is Angelina.”
Knox weighed 5.03 pounds and Vivienne weighed 5 pounds, Sussmann adds.
And Jolie has already started to receive visitors. “Angelina’s brother [James Haven] has been here this morning,” a hospital insider tells Usmagazine.com.
“There is a buzz at the clinic. The babies are resting, as is Jolie. They haven’t [been] crying yet, so it just feels very peaceful.”
Jolie, 33, gave birth via a Cesarian section at the Lenval Hospital on the French Riviera on Saturday night, the French newspaper Nice-Matin first reported.
The Cesarian section was moved up from its scheduled date “for medical reasons” so the babies would be born “in the best conditions,” Sussmann explained.
Knox weighed 5.03 pounds and Vivienne weighed 5 pounds, Sussmann said to the AP.
Reps for Jolie and Pitt did not confirm the report.
Earlier in the day, a rep for the hospital denied an online rumor that Jolie gave birth.
Last week, Sussmann held a press conference to let reporters know the twins were due “in the weeks to come.
“Everything is normal,” Sussmann said. “Everything is going well.”
Pitt was photographed on Tuesday at the hospital. He was there with son Pax, 4.
Jolie previously received visits from Maddox, 6, as well as daughters Shiloh, 2, and Zahara, 3.
The actress checked into the hospital at the end of June via helicopter, Nice-Matin reported at the time.
Jolie is staying on the hospital’s fifth floor which features an “unobstructed view” over the Bay of Angels, the paper reported. She reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch, according to the report.

The twins are the 5th and 6th kids in the Jolie-Pitt family, joining Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Matthew McConaughey’s Brazilian girlfriend has given birth to a boy, People magazine reported on its Web site on Tuesday.
The child — the first for McConaughey and model Camila Alves — was born on Monday evening, the report quoted the actor’s publicist as saying.
McConaughey, 38, said in January that he and Alves were “stoked and wowed” by the pending arrival. He started dating Alves, a native of Rio De Janeiro, after breaking up with Spanish actress Penelope Cruz in 2006.
The actor, once named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People, starred in the recent romantic comedy “Fool’s Gold” with Kate Hudson.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Welcome a Baby Girl

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter, born Monday morning in Nashville, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The pregnancy was first announced in January. Kidman has two other children with her former husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.
In the days leading up to the birth, the couple – who celebrated their second wedding anniversary on June 25 – didn’t stray from their normal routine in and around Nashville, where they reside in a gated community.
From early morning stops at a local Starbucks for warm drinks to a little sweat at the gym later in the day (Kidman was a regular at spin and yoga classes during her pregnancy), the couple remained low-key.
“She’s never been happier and healthier,” says a close family friend. “She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home in Nashville.”
But getting ready for their baby was a priority. Urban admitted he was learning a new vocabulary for fatherhood and doing Lamaze lessons. “He doesn’t know the name [of the classes], but he has been very good at it!” Kidman told a local radio station on June 24.
The new parents also bought a couple of books to help them along: Pocket Dad: Everyday Wisdom and Your Pregnancy, Week By Week.
“The unknown excites me a lot,” Urban told reporters in May. “What kind of feelings will fatherhood bring? I’m sure I can’t even imagine, but I am really looking forward to finding out.”
The Pregnant Man Gives Birth

Thomas Beatie, also known as The Pregnant Man, has given birth to a girl, he confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
Beatie, 34, who began life as a woman and legally switched to a male identity, while preserving his female reproductive organs, and his wife Nancy, 46, welcomed a daughter at an Oregon hospital on June 29. Both Beatie and his daughter are healthy and doing well, he tells PEOPLE.
Beatie, who took twice-weekly doses of testosterone and had his breasts surgically removed during his female-to-male transition, made headlines around the globe last April when he announced in an exclusive interview in PEOPLE and on The Oprah Winfrey Show that he was expecting a child – while legally living as a man.
Raised in Hawaii, he spent the first two decades of his life as Tracy Lagondino, a Girl Scout, former model and finalist in a Miss Hawaii Teen USA pageant. Beatie told PEOPLE that he began to dress and live as a man in his 20s, in time officially changing his gender on his passport and driver’s license.
In 2003, he legally married Nancy, a divorced mother of two who had had a hysterectomy as a result of endometriosis.
The couple became pregnant using donor sperm and Thomas’s eggs, through artificial insemination, after relocating in 2005 to Bend, Ore., where they operate a T-shirting printing business.
Their baby girl is Thomas’s first child. “The only thing different about me is that I can’t breastfeed my baby. But a lot of mothers don’t,” he told PEOPLE.
Despite published reports, Beatie says the baby was not delivered via C-section. He intends to publish a book about his experience this fall.
Angelina Jolie: Soon to Give Birth

“Angelina Jolie will give birth in Nice,” announces the newspaper sign taped to a pole not far from the hospital where the actress is being treated.
Although the pregnant actress has been described by the Nice-Matin newspaper as “the most famous woman on the planet,” life goes on outside the hospital virtually unchanged – for now.
While several photographers milled about nearby, only a single camera crew stood outside the main entrance Wednesday morning. But the scene will soon be far less sleepy, now that hospital spokeswoman Nadine Bauer has confirmed that Jolie’s doctor, Michel Sussmann, will address the media at 11:30 a.m. ET.
“Madame Jolie’s doctor will be updating her condition at the hospital and giving medical details,” said Bauer. “Madame Jolie is doing very well.” Jolie has even had a few vistors. Beau Brad Pitt dropped by with two special guests Wednesday: daughters Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2.
Jolie, who is expecting twins, checked into the medical center this weekend.
Since then, the paper reports, she and Pitt – who already have four children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara and Shiloh – have been staying at a four-room maternity suite overlooking the Bay of Angels.
Time will tell if it’s true, as the newspaper claims, that “Madame Pitt” is carrying twin daughters. In the meantime, it seems that Nice-Matin has coined a new definition for VIP – describing it as a “very important pregnancy.”
